Abstract
V delu obravnavamo povezavo med gospodarsko razvitostjo in dohodkovno neenakostjo.

Title:Theoretical and empirical analysis of the Kuznets curve using panel data
Abstract:
This thesis examines the relationship between economic development and income inequality. Using data for several countries, we test the Kuznets hypothesis. Pooled regression models show an inverted U-shaped relationship between GDP per capita and inequality, while fixed-effects models do not provide evidence of such a relationship. The results suggest that the Kuznets curve appears mainly in comparisons between countries and not necessarily as a development path of an individual country.
