Abstract
V diplomskem delu so opisane reakcije treh različnih cinkovih(II) spojin s 3-cianopiridinom. 3-cianopiridin ima dve mesti preko katerih lahko poteče koordinacija, in sicer preko ciano skupine ali pa preko obročnega dušika. Izbrane izhodne spojine so bile: cinkov(II) klorid (ZnCl2), cinkov(II) acetat dihidrat (Zn(CH3COO)2.2H2O) ter [Zn(kinal)2(H2O)]. Reakcije so bile izvedene v različnih topilih ter pri različnih pogojih (sobna temperatura, segrevanje ob refluksu ali segrevanje v avtoklavu pri 105 °C). Pripravljene so bile naslednje spojine: [ZnCl2(3-CNpy)2], [Zn7O2(CH3COO)10(3-CNpy)2], [Zn(CH3COO)2]n, [Zn7O2(CH3COO)10(3-CNpy)2].4CH3CN in [Zn(kinal)2(acetamidin)]. Pripravljena pa je bila tudi spojina X, katere sestava še ni ugotovljena. Trdni produkti so bili okarakterizirani z IR spektroskopijo, 1H NMR spektroskopijo, elementno analizo, nekateri pa tudi z rentgensko difrakcijsko analizo.

Title:Zinc(II) reactions with 3-cianopyridine
Abstract:
In the diploma thesis, reactions of three different zinc(II) compounds with 3-cyanopyridine are described. 3-cyanopyridine has two sites through which coordination can occur, namely through the cyano group or through the ring nitrogen. The selected starting compounds were: zinc(II) chloride (ZnCl₂), zinc(II) acetate dihydrate (Zn(CH₃COO)₂·2H₂O), and [Zn(quin)₂(H₂O)]. The reactions were carried out in different solvents and under various conditions (at room temperature, heating under reflux or heating in autoclaves at 105 °C). The following compounds were prepared: [ZnCl₂(3-CNpy)₂], [Zn₇O₂(CH₃COO)₁₀(3-CNpy)₂], [Zn(CH₃COO)₂]ₙ, [Zn₇O₂(CH₃COO)₁₀(3-CNpy)₂]·4CH₃CN, and [Zn(kinal)₂(acetamidine)]. We also prepared compound X whose composition is yet unknown. The solid products were characterized using IR spectroscopy, ¹H NMR spectroscopy, elemental analysis, and some also with X-ray diffraction analysis.
