Abstract
Sintetizirala sem štiri bakrove(II) spojine z vezanim anionom 4-hidroksibenzojske kisline (HL). Te spojine so Cu(L)2(H2O)3 1, [Cu(L)2(nia)2(H2O)2] 2, Cu(L)2(3OHpy)2 3 in Cu(L)2(2apy)2 4; nia – nikotinamid, 3OHpy – 3-hidroksipiridin, 2apy – 2-aminopiridin. Spojina 2 je že bila opisana in sem to potrdila s praškovno rentgensko difrakcijo. Podobno za 2 se sklada tudi z elementno CHN analizo. S to metodo sem sklepala tudi na preproste formule za ostale tri spojine 1, 3 in 4. Vse spojine 1-4 vsebujejo L, a le 2-4 imajo vključen še piridinski ligand. Poleg CHN analize se to delno vidi tudi v IR spektrih, saj imajo te spojine ob trakovih kot pri 1 še dodatne trakove. Barve izoliranih spojin se razlikujejo, saj imam dve svetlo modri (1, 2), eno indigo modro (3) in eno zeleno (4) spojino. Te barve se skladajo z različnimi elektronskimi spektri (absorbirana komplementarna barva), ki nakazujejo njihove različne koordinacijske sfere.

Title:Synthesis and characterization of copper compounds with 4-hydroxybenzoic acid
Abstract:
Four copper(II) compounds with an anion of 4-hydroxybenzoic acid (HL) bonded have been synthesized. These compounds are Cu(L)2(H2O)3 1, [Cu(L)2(nia)2(H2O)2] 2, [Cu(L)2(3OHpy)2] 3 and [Cu(L)2(2apy)2] 4; nia – nicotinamide, 3OHpy – 3-hydroxypyridine, 2apy – 2-aminopyridine. Compound 2 has already been described and herein confirmed by the powder X-ray diffraction. Also for the other three (1, 3, 4) compounds’ simple formulae was similarly deduced by this method. L is included in all compounds 1-4, though only 2-4 have an additional pyridine ligand. Besides the CHN analysis, the IR spectra for these compounds also show similarity having bands as for 1, but also some additional ones. The color of the isolated compounds differ, as two are light blue (1, 2), one is indigo (3) and one is green (4). These colors corroborate with different electronic spectra indicating their different coordination spheres.
