Abstract
Ustvarjalnice v knjižnicah postajajo pomemben del sodobnih knjižničnih storitev, saj podpirajo ustvarjalnost, praktično učenje in razvoj prenosljivih kompetenc. Podatki so bili analizirani z deskriptivnimi in kvalitativnimi pristopi. Rezultati kažejo, da zaposleni delovanje Ustvarjalnice CTK ocenjujejo kot uspešno, pri čemer izpostavljajo raznolik program, dostop do opreme in pozitivne odzive uporabnikov. Uporabniki izražajo visoko stopnjo zadovoljstva z opremo in strokovno podporo zaposlenih, medtem ko neuporabniki kot glavne ovire navajajo pomanjkanje informacij in časovne omejitve.

Title:A Makerspace in academic library: the case of Central Technical Library at the University of Ljubljana : primer Centralne tehniške knjižnice Univerze v Ljubljani
Abstract:
Makerspaces in libraries are becoming an increasingly important part of contemporary library services, as they support creativity, hands-on learning, and the development of transferable skills. The aim of this study was to examine the operation of the CTK Makerspace from the perspective of employees and (potential) users and to assess the extent to which the makerspace fulfills its role within a higher education environment. The study was conducted in two phases. In the first phase, structured interviews were carried out with four CTK employees involved in the operation and development of the makerspace. In the second phase, a survey was conducted among makerspace users (n = 19) and library members who do not use the service (n = 108). The data were analyzed using descriptive and qualitative approaches. The results indicate that employees perceive the CTK Makerspace as operating successfully, highlighting a diverse program, access to equipment, and positive user feedback. Users report a high level of satisfaction with the available equipment and professional support provided by library staff. Non-users identify lack of information and time constraints as the main barriers to use. Key challenges include spatial and organizational limitations. The findings confirm the importance of makerspaces as supportive environments within academic libraries and highlight the need for continued development of staff competencies, improved promotion, and ongoing adaptation of services to user needs.
