Abstract
Diplomsko delo obravnava razvoj prilagojenega jedilnega pribora za otroke s cerebralno paralizo, ki se zaradi motenj v motoriki rok, koordinaciji gibov in mišičnem tonusu srečujejo s številnimi težavami pri samostojnem hranjenju. Teoretični del temelji na pregledu strokovne literature ter intervjujih z delovnima terapevtkama. Raziskava je pokazala ključne pomanjkljivosti obstoječih rešitev, kot so omejena prilagodljivost, neustrezna ergonomija ter 'kliničen' videz izdelkov, ki lahko prispeva k stigmatizaciji uporabnikov. V praktičnem delu je predstavljen proces razvoja novega prilagojenega jedilnega pribora, zasnovanega na ergonomskih načelih in potrebah otrok z različnimi oblikami cerebralne paralize. Oblikovani so bili trije koncepti ročajev, ki omogočajo boljši oprijem, zmanjšanje mišičnega napora ter prilagoditev specifičnim motoričnim omejitvam uporabnikov. Posebna pozornost je bila namenjena tudi oblikovanju zajemalnega dela žlice, izbiri materialov in estetskemu videzu izdelka. Namen razvite rešitve je povečati samostojnost otrok pri hranjenju, izboljšati uporabniško izkušnjo ter prispevati k večji socialni vključenosti in kakovosti življenja otrok z gibalnimi ovirami.

Title:Assistive device for independent preformance of everyday tasks for children with mobility impairments
Abstract:
This bachelor's thesis focuses on the development of adapted cutlery for children with cerebral palsy who experience significant difficulties with independent feeding due to impairments in hand motor function, movement coordination, and muscle tone. The theoretical part is based on a review of professional literature and interviews with two occupational therapists. The research identified several key shortcomings of existing solutions, including limited adaptability, inadequate ergonomics, and the 'clinical' appearance of products, which may contribute to the stigmatization of users. The practical part presents the development process of a new adaptive eating utensil designed according to ergonomic principles and the needs of children with different forms of cerebral palsy. Three handle concepts were developed to provide a better grip, reduce muscular effort, and accommodate specific motor impairments of users. Particular attention was also given to the design of the spoon bowl, the selection of materials, and the aesthetic appearance of the product. The aim of the proposed solution is to increase children's independence during meals, improve the user experience, and contribute to greater social inclusion and a higher quality of life for children with physical disabilities.
