Abstract
Mladi se danes soočamo z digitalno preobremenjenostjo. Velik del šolskega in prostega časa preživimo pred zasloni telefonov, tablic in računalnikov, kar zmanjšuje potrebo po ročnem pisanju. Rokopis pa ima pri spodbujanju spomina, koncentracije, kreativnosti in osredotočenosti številne dokazane pozitivne učinke na stimulacijo možganskih aktivnosti. Cilj diplomskega dela je bil izdelati fizičen, funkcionalen in estetsko primeren rokovnik za šolsko leto 2026/27. Namen raziskave je bil tudi ovrednotiti izbrane vrste papirjev (Motif Multifunctional paper (V1), Color Copy Coated Glossy paper (V2) in nepremazan kartonski material akacije (V3)) glede na njihove osnovne, strukturne, površinske, optične, tiskarske in mehanske lastnosti ter na podlagi rezultatov določiti najprimernejši material za izdelavo rokovnika. V teoretičnem delu sta predstavljena digitalna preobremenjenost in njen vpliv na mlade. Nadalje so predstavljeni grafični materiali, izbrana tehnika tiska in grafična dodelava rokovnikov. Eksperimentalni del je temeljil na testiranju in primerjavi izbranih vzorcev papirja z ustreznimi analiznimi metodami. Analiza je pokazala, da je za izdelavo notranjega dela rokovnika najprimernejši V1, za platnice pa V3 z višjo gramaturo. Končni izdelek je rokovnik za šolsko leto 2026/27, namenjen osnovnošolcem, dijakom in študentom, ki omogoča preglednejšo organizacijo časa (formalnega in neformalnega) ter učinkovito beleženje ciljev, obveznosti in nalog.

Title:Testing selected materials for student planner production
Abstract:
Young people today are increasingly confronted with digital overload. A substantial portion of both school-related and leisure time is spent in front of screens—such as smartphones, tablets, and computers—which reduces the need for handwriting. However, handwriting has numerous scientifically proven positive effects on memory, concentration, creativity, and focus, as it significantly contributes to the stimulation of brain activity. The aim of this bachelor’s thesis was to design and produce a physical, functional, and aesthetically appropriate planner for the academic year 2026/27. The purpose of the research was also to evaluate selected types of paper (Motif Multifunctional paper (V1), Color Copy Coated Glossy paper (V2), and uncoated paperboard Acacia (V3)) in terms of their basic, structural, surface, optical, printing, and mechanical properties, and, based on the results, to determine the most suitable material for planner production. The theoretical part presents the concept of digital overload and its impact on young people. Furthermore, graphic materials, the selected printing technique, and the finishing processes used in planner production are described. The experimental part was based on the testing and comparison of selected paper samples using appropriate analytical methods. The analysis showed that V1 is the most suitable for the inner pages of the planner, while V3 with higher grammage is the most appropriate for the covers. The final product is a planner for the academic year 2026/27, intended for primary school pupils, secondary school students, and university students. It enables clearer organization of time (both formal and informal) and efficient recording of goals, obligations, and tasks.
