Abstract
Sinteza biometanola iz obnovljivih virov predstavlja trajnostno alternativo fosilnim gorivom, vendar so tradicionalni bakrovi katalizatorji (Cu/ZnO/Al$_{2}$O$_{3}$) izpostavljeni termičnemu sintranju bakra, ki ga dodatno pospešuje še nastala reakcijska voda. S podrobnim pregledom literature in izvedeno primerjalno analizo so katalizatorji na osnovi indijevega oksida (In$_{2}$O$_{3}$) pokazali dolgoročno ohranjanje visoke selektivnosti ter uspešno zaviranje reakcije RWGS. Raziskava nam ponuja smernice za izbiro katalitičnega sistema in prihodnje raziskave.

Title:Comparison of catalysts for biomethanol synthesis from renewable feedstocks
Abstract:
The synthesis of biomethanol from renewable feedstocks represents a sustainable alternative to fossil fuels. However, traditional copper catalysts (Cu/ZnO/Al$_{2}$O$_{3}$) are subject to thermal sintering of the copper, a process accelerated by the reaction-produced water. Through a detailed review of the literature and a comparative analysis, catalysts based on indium oxide (In$_{2}$O$_{3}$) have demonstrated long term maintenance of high selectivity and successful inhibition of the RWGS reaction. This research provides guidelines for the selection of the catalytic system and for future research.
