Abstract
V eksperimentalnem delu so bili primerjani trije različni časovni profili notranjega tlaka: linearni, progresivni in regresivni profil.

Title:Forming of a tube bend under high internal pressure
Abstract:
The thesis investigates the influence of the time-dependent internal pressure profile on tube hydroforming. The theoretical part presents the fundamentals of tube hydroforming, the key process parameters, and the influence of the loading path on the forming process. In the experimental part, three different internal pressure profiles were compared: linear, progressive, and regressive. The same initial conditions and comparable process parameters were used in all experiments. The produced components were evaluated by analysing their geometric deviation from the reference CAD model and by measuring the wall thickness distribution. The progressive pressure profile produced the most favourable results, although the differences between all three tested profiles were small. The results indicate that the time-dependent internal pressure profile can influence the geometric accuracy of the formed component and the distribution of its wall thickness.

Keywords:high internal pressure forming, internal pressure, pressure-time profile, tube-formed components, wall thickness
