Abstract
Koncentracija amonijevega sulfata (0,3 M) in temperatura elektrolita (75 °C) sta bili konstantni.

Title:Influence of machining time and voltage on surface quality in plasma electrolytic polishing
Abstract:
In plasma electrolytic polishing, we observe the effect of changing the operating parameters of processing time and voltage on the quality of processing of stainless steel samples. The goal was to determine the optimal processing parameters, where the surface quality is as good as possible, while at the same time avoiding excessive material removal at the edges of the samples. The samples were cut using a water jet and sandblasted to a uniform initial state. The concentration of ammonium sulfate (0.3 M) and the temperature of the electrolyte (75 °C) were constant. Measurements of the mass and thickness of the samples, roughness parameters and edge rounding were performed before and after polishing. The best polishing results were observed at voltages of 340 and 360 V and a longer operating time of 8 minutes, where the polishing efficiency is high and the material is removed evenly, since excessive material removal at the edges of the samples does not occur.
