Abstract
V diplomskem delu je bil sintetiziran akvaoksidobis(pikolinato)vanadijev(IV) kompleks [VO(pic)₂(H₂O)] in proučevane so bile njegove interakcije z različnimi potencialnimi N- in O-donorskimi ligandi v organskih topilih. Izhodna spojina, ligandi in dobljeni produkti so bili analizirani z rentgensko praškovno difrakcijo. Pri reakcijah z 2-metilimidazolom, 3-aminopiridinom in 4-aminopiridinom so rezultati rentgenske praškovne difrakcije pokazali na nastanek novih kristaliničnih faz, saj so bili opaženi ukloni, ki niso bili prisotni v difraktogramih izhodne spojine ali ustreznih ligandov. Pri drugih proučevanih ligandih nastanka novih kristaliničnih faz ni bilo mogoče zanesljivo potrditi oziroma so bili dobljeni amorfni ali slabo kristalinični produkti.

Title:Interactions of aquaoxidobis(picolinato)vanadium(IV) complex with organic solvents
Abstract:
The aquaoxidobis(picolinato)vanadium(IV) complex [VO(pic)₂(H₂O)] was synthesized, and its interactions with various potential N- and O-donor ligands in organic solvents were investigated. The starting compound, ligands, and obtained products were analysed by powder X-ray diffraction. In the reactions with 2-methylimidazole, 3-aminopyridine, and 4-aminopyridine, the powder X-ray diffraction results indicated the formation of new crystalline phases, as diffraction peaks were observed that were not present in the diffraction patterns of the starting compound or the corresponding ligands. For the other ligands investigated, the formation of new crystalline phases could not be reliably confirmed, or amorphous or poorly crystalline products were obtained.
