Abstract
V tej diplomski nalogi smo razvili VR simulacijo laboratorijskih postopkov, ki študentom omogoča interaktivno učenje in vadbo ključnih laboratorijskih opravil v nadzorovanem virtualnem okolju. Osrednji cilj naloge je bil raziskati, ali VR kot izobraževalni medij prispeva k boljšemu razumevanju laboratorijskih postopkov in večji pripravljenosti študentov za delo v resničnem laboratoriju. Učinek smo ovrednotili z eksplorativno študijo na skupini študentk, ki so simulacijo preizkusile, z uporabo vprašalnikov, sistemsko zabeleženih podatkov o izvedbi postopkov ter opazovanja med izvedbo. Rezultati kažejo, da uporaba VR pripomore k boljšemu razumevanju laboratorijskih postopkov in večji splošni pripravljenosti študentov.

Title:Virtual reality as an educational medium for laboratory training
Abstract:
In this thesis, we developed a VR simulation of laboratory procedures that enables students to interactively learn and practise key laboratory tasks in a controlled virtual environment. The central objective was to explore whether VR as an educational medium contributes to better understanding of laboratory procedures and greater student preparedness for work in a real laboratory. The effect was evaluated through an exploratory study with a group of students who tested the simulation, using questionnaires, system-recorded performance data, and observation during the session. The results indicate that the use of VR contributes to better understanding of laboratory procedures and greater overall student preparedness.
