Abstract
Tekom diplomskega dela sem raziskoval sintezo koordinacijskih spojin cinka z dipikolinsko kislino in z uporabo mehanokemijske sinteze. Sprva sem sinteze štirih izbranih spojin izvedel v raztopini.

Title:Mechanochemical synthesis of zinc complexes with dipicolinic acid
Abstract:
In my thesis, I investigated the synthesis of zinc coordination compounds with dipicolinic acid using mechanochemical synthesis. Initially, I carried out the synthesis of four selected compounds in solution. Using mechanochemical synthesis, I investigated how various reaction conditions—the source of zinc ions, the addition of solvent, the synthesis time, and the use of different grinding beads—affect product formation. I found that mechanochemically activated reactions do not lead to the expected product, but all four factors influence the conversion rate of the reactants. The products, as well as the standards, were analyzed using powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD) and then processed using computer software.
