Abstract
Namen diplomske naloge je bil ugotoviti vpliv avksinov oziroma hormonov za koreninjenje na tvorbo adventivnih korenin pri potaknjencih rdečega in črnega ribeza (Ribes rubrum 'Rovada' in Ribes nigrum 'Titania'). V poskusu smo potaknjence ribeza tretirali s tremi avksinskimi pripravki (NAA, IAA, IBA), v koncentraciji 1000 ppm in uspešnost koreninjenja primerjali s kontrolo (brez uporabljenega hormona). Po 227 dneh gojenja potaknjencev v substratu za koreninjenje lesnih potaknjencev smo opravili meritve uspešnosti koreninjenja. Pri posameznem potaknjencu smo ovrednotili naslednje parametre: število razvitih adventivnih korenin, dolžino najdaljše korenine (mm) in povprečno dolžino korenin (mm). Rezultati poskusa so pokazali, da so uporabljeni hormoni različno vplivali na koreninjenje potaknjencev glede na vrsto ribeza. Pri črnem ribezu smo najboljše rezultate dosegli s hormonoma NAA in IBA.

Title:The effect of different hormones on the rooting of cuttings of two currant species (Ribes spp.)
Abstract:
The aim of the diploma thesis was to determine the effect of auxins, i.e. rooting hormones, on the formation of adventitious roots in red and black currant stem cuttings. In the experiment, currant cuttings were treated with three auxin hormonal preparations (NAA, IAA and IBA) at a concentration of 1000 ppm, while rooting success was compared with untreated cuttings used as the control. After 227 days of cultivation of the cuttings in a substrate suitable for rooting hardwood cuttings, rooting success was evaluated. The following parameters were assessed for each cutting: number of developed adventitious roots, length of the longest root (mm), and average root length (mm). The results showed that the applied hormones affected rooting differently depending on the currant species. In black currant, the best results were obtained with NAA and IBA treatments. Cuttings treated with NAA developed the highest average number of roots, while IBA had the most positive effect on root length. In red currant, IBA proved to be the most effective hormone, as the cuttings developed the highest number of roots and the longest roots. The study confirmed that the use of auxins influences the rooting success of currant cuttings, although the effect of individual hormones depends on the species or cultivar. The results indicate that the application of suitable rooting hormones can improve the vegetative propagation of currants by stem cuttings.
