Abstract
Diplomsko delo obravnava problem slabe organiziranosti skladišča, njegove pomanjkljive sledljivosti in zastarelosti.

Title:Improving warehouse operations and dispatching by introducing a higher level of automation
Abstract:
The diploma thesis addresses the issues of inefficient warehouse organization, inadequate material traceability, and the technological obsolescence of the existing system. The primary focus is on the analysis of material flows and the identification of optimization opportunities that would directly enhance the efficiency of production processes. The methodology includes a detailed assessment of the current state, an ABC analysis for article classification, and a comparative analysis of mobile robots. An economic evaluation of the solutions was conducted using the Cost Comparison Method (CCM). The results of the analysis confirm that the implementation of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) and the establishment of traceability using QR codes represent the most suitable measures. The proposed improvements are economically justified and ensure long-term operational optimization.
