As part of this master's thesis, the influence of geometric deviations on the stresses in cylindrical gear pairs was examined. Special emphasis was placed on comparing analytically determined stresses according to the ISO 6336 standard with those obtained through numerical simulations. Various types of geometric deviations and their impacts were analyzed. For the research, 3D models of gear pairs were created, into which selected geometric deviations were systematically incorporated. Virtual experiments were performed using the ABAQUS/Standard software environment. The obtained results were compared with analytical calculations for gears of the eighth accuracy tolerance class. It was found that in most cases, the standard provides conservative results, which allow for a certain safety margin in practice. In extreme cases, where the deviations were the highest, the resulting stresses were comparable. Such conditions are unlikely to occur in real engineering practice.
