Abstract
The project Anti-gender/anti-democratic nexus in Bosnia and Herzegovina examines gender and sexuality policies and discourses in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) in order to identify anti-gender actors and frames as well as the relation of anti-gender mobilizations and de-democratization. It aims to identify anti-gender actors, frames and policies in BiH through a triangulation of qualitative research methods. As part of the research project Anti-gender/anti-democratic nexus in Bosnia and Herzegovina, three types of qualitative research material were collected: media articles from major Bosnian and Herzegovinian print media (201 articles published between January 2018 and April 2023); transcripts of parliamentary debates (11 selected debate records from November 2023 to July 2025) and semi-structured expert interviews conducted from January 2025 to June 2026. The present data publication contains the media metadata and five manually produced parliamentary debate transcripts. The interview transcripts and recordings are not deposited because participants did not consent to their public dissemination. The primary purpose of collecting these data was to gain insight into both anti-gender actors and anti-gender frames in different discursive spheres. The database is therefore suitable for analyzing central anti-gender and anti-LGBTIQ+/pride frames and actors. It should not be understood as a comprehensive overview of when and how issues related to gender equality or LGBTIQ+ rights were more broadly discussed in Bosnian and Herzegovina. The analysis relied on qualitative content analysis and Critical Frame Analysis.

Title:
Antigender i antidemokratski nexus u Bosni i Hercegovini : baza medijskih članaka (2018–2023) : istraživački podaci projekta
