Abstract
Podatkovni niz vsebuje laboratorijske gravimetrične meritve 102 vzorcev tal, zbranih na dveh lokacijah slovenske mreže detektorjev nevtronov (Ljubljana - karbonatna tla; Podravje - nekarbonatna tla), namenjene določitvi vsebnosti močno vezane vode (MVV) v tleh z metodo izgube pri žarenju (LOI). Za vsak vzorec so podane mase po sušenju pri 105 °C ter po sežigu pri 400 °C in 1000 °C, ločeno za standardni postopek in za postopek s predhodno obdelavo z 10-odstotno raztopino HCl za odstranitev karbonatov. Podatki omogočajo izračun in primerjavo MVV med obema metodama priprave vzorcev ter služijo kot osnova za umerjanje merilnikov vode v tleh, ki temeljijo na zaznavanju nevtronov (CRNS). Zbirka je bila uporabljena v članku "Vpliv predhodne kislinske obdelave na določanje močno vezane vode v tleh", oddanem v revijo Acta agriculturae Slovenica.

Title:Influence of acid pretreatment on the determination of lattice water in soils : research data underlying the article
Abstract:
This dataset contains laboratory gravimetric measurements of 102 soil samples collected at two sites of the Slovenian cosmic-ray neutron sensor network (Ljubljana – carbonate-rich soil; Podravje region – non-carbonate soil), used to determine the soil lattice water (LW) content via the Loss-on-Ignition (LOI) method. For each sample, masses are provided after drying at 105 °C and after ignition at 400 °C and 1000 °C, separately for the standard procedure and for the procedure involving pretreatment with a 10% HCl solution to remove carbonates. The data allow calculation and comparison of LW between the two sample-preparation methods and serve as a basis for the calibration of cosmic-ray neutron sensors (CRNS) used for soil water monitoring. The dataset was used in the article "Influence of acid pretreatment on the determination of lattice water in soils," submitted to the journal Acta agriculturae Slovenica.
