Abstract
Diplomska naloga obravnava etiko skrbi v povezavi z Jezusovim naukom.

Title:Ethics of care in the light of Jesus’ teaching
Abstract:
This thesis examines the ethics of care in relation to the teachings of Jesus. Both fields address themes that are relevant to theological as well as non-theological approaches, including questions of justice, care, reciprocity, and interpersonal relationships. The aim of the thesis is to explore the interconnectedness of two frameworks of thought which may initially appear incompatible. The thesis is based on a hermeneutical approach. The ethics of care is examined within a broader political and social context, while the teachings of Jesus are interpreted within the historical context of Judaism and religious-ideological foundations. The research includes the analysis and comparison of relevant texts from the fields of care ethics and theological thought, while also maintaining a critical distance toward both examined positions. The main conclusion of the thesis is that both the ethics of care and the teachings of Jesus possess certain conceptual limitations, while simultaneously containing significant emancipatory potential, particularly in the context of understanding responsibility and interpersonal relationships.

Keywords:Ethics of care, teaching of Jesus, hermeneutics, justice, interpersonal relationships, emancipation.
