Villae rusticae were key features of the Roman countryside in Italy and the provinces. The villa discussed here was used for nearly four centuries, from the second quarter of the 1st century to the first half or mid-5th century.
This thesis attempts a computer reconstruction of the thermal complex of the villa from its second building phase, set within the broader context of structural development and research history. Measurements from the 86th AAS collection formed the basis for the reconstruction. Using AutoCAD and Autodesk Fusion, we produced a technical plan of the thermal area, followed by a 3D model. The process focused on rooms 3 and 4, which were best preserved and provided detailed insights into the design and reconstruction workflow.
