Technology has increasingly become part of our everyday lives in recent years, and it
is also becoming more prevalent in the public sector. With the introduction of
technology in healthcare, a solution for scheduling medical appointments called
eNaročanje (e-appointment scheduling) was developed in Slovenia. In this bachelor’s
thesis, we analyzed this solution and conducted research to obtain users’ opinions
about eNaročanje. In the theoretical part of the thesis, we gathered all relevant
information regarding the meaning, development, advantages, and disadvantages of
eNaročanje. In the research part, we analyzed users’ opinions. The aim of the thesis
was to determine the level of user satisfaction with eNaročanje services in Slovenia.
The study was conducted using a combination of quantitative and qualitative
approaches. We described and presented the eNaročanje system, collected more than
150 responses to a survey questionnaire, conducted three interviews with healthcare
professionals, and formed key conclusions along with proposals for further work and
research. We found that users are, on average, satisfied with eNaročanje; however,
not all of the surveyed participants use it. In the future, more attention should be given
to promoting the system and adapting it for older and less digitally literate users.
This work contributes to a better understanding of users of the eNaročanje system. By
identifying the main challenges they face, the system can be further adapted in the
future and made more user-friendly.
