Idejna zasnova specialne ortopedske bolnišnice v Radovljici

Naloga na podlagi izbrane lokacije v Radovljici obravnava idejno zasnovo specialne ortopedske bolnišnice, zasnovane kot celostno zdravstveno in preventivno središče za obravnavo ter krepitev mišično-gibalnega sistema. Osnovni cilj naloge je oblikovati prostorski koncept ustanove, ki združuje celoten proces ortopedskega zdravljenja, od diagnostike in kirurških posegov do rehabilitacije ter preventivnih programov, hkrati pa omogoča vključevanje zunanjih obiskovalcev v dejavnosti za ohranjanje gibalnega zdravja. Bolnišnica deluje kot neprekinjen, kompleksen sistem različnih programov, ki mora omogočati ustrezne pogoje za izvajanje zahtevnih procesov diagnostike, zdravljenja in terapije. Pri njenem načrtovanju se zato prepogosto zanemarja dejstvo, da je to tudi prostor intenzivnih čustev in težkih izkušenj uporabnikov. Prav zato bi morala biti ena od njenih osnovnih nalog zagotavljanje podpore, varnosti in spodbujanje dobrega počutja pacientov ter vseh ostalih uporabnikov bolnišnice.

• Title: Conceptual Design of a Specialized Orthopedic Hospital in Radovljica

Abstract

The thesis, based on a selected site in Radovljica, addresses the conceptual design of a specialized orthopedic hospital conceived as a comprehensive healthcare and preventive center for the treatment and strengthening of the musculoskeletal system. The primary objective of the thesis is to develop a spatial concept for an institution that integrates the entire process of orthopedic care, from diagnostics and surgical procedures to rehabilitation and preventive programs, while also enabling the inclusion of external visitors in activities aimed at maintaining musculoskeletal health. A hospital functions as a continuous, complex system of diverse programs that must provide appropriate conditions for the demanding processes of diagnosis, treatment, and therapy. In its planning, however, the fact that it is also a place of intense emotions and difficult experiences for its users is too often overlooked. For this reason, one of its fundamental roles should be to provide support and safety, and to promote the wellbeing of patients and all other users of the hospital.
