This thesis presents the development of a module for the electronic submission
of books of issued and received invoices to the eDavki tax system within
an existing business application. The existing information system supported
the management of accounting records but did not support the direct electronic
submission of these data to an external government system. Before
the introduction of the new solution, data could be exported only in CSV for
specific tax audit requests, which was not suitable for regular and formalized
electronic reporting.
The thesis aimed to develop a module that supports data preparation for
a selected period, XML content generation and preparation of the submission
package, electronic submission to the eDavki system, submission status
checking, and the review of returned warnings and errors. The solution
was implemented as an upgrade of an existing application developed in the
PowerBuilder environment, using Microsoft SQL Server as the database and
an additional .NET component for working with digital certificates and authentication
tokens.
The thesis presents the problem analysis, the technological background,
the system requirements, the architecture, and the implementation of the
module. The evaluation of the solution is based on test scenarios, a comparison
of the previous and the new procedure, and an assessment of the
achieved objectives. The results show that the developed solution successfully
supports the new business process of electronic submission and improves
the transparency and usability of the procedure within the existing information
system.
