Abstract
Baker(II) je najpogostejša oksidacijska oblika bakra v bioloških sistemih, zato njegove koordinacijske spojine vzbujajo veliko zanimanje za preučevanje. V tem magistrskem delu smo že znano koordinacijsko spojino [Cu(fur)2(CH3OH)2] (fur– predstavlja deprotoniran furosemid) modificirali z zamenjavo metanolnih ligandov z različnimi heterocikličnimi amini (npr. piperidin, pirolidin, morfolin, tiomorfolin), pri čemer nas je zanimal vpliv teh sprememb. Uporabili smo različna topila, reakcijske pogoje in razmerja med reaktanti. Pripravili smo pet bakrovih(II) kompleksov s splošno sestavo [Cu(fur)2(amin)2]. Oba liganda sta se vezala monodentatno. Pri tiomorfolinu je nastal tudi koordinacijski polimer. Pri vseh ligandih, razen 2,6-dimetilmorfolinu, so nastale tudi neznane zelene spojine, ki smo jih označili kot X_amin in jih nismo uspeli identificirati. Nastale produkte smo izolirali in okarakterizirali z infrardečo spektroskopijo (IR), UV–Vis spektroskopijo, termogravimetrično analizo (TG), elementno CHN analizo ter rentgensko strukturno analizo na monokristalu.

Title:Synthesis and characterization of copper(II) complexes with furosemide anion and cyclic amines
Abstract:
Copper(II) is the most common oxidation state of copper in biological systems, which is why its coordination compounds are of considerable interest. In this master’s thesis, we modified the already known coordination compound [Cu(fur)2(CH3OH)2] (where fur– represents deprotonated furosemide) by replacing the methanol ligands with various heterocyclic amines, such as piperidine, pyrrolidine, morpholine and thiomorpholine, with the aim of investigating the effect of these changes. Different solvents, reaction conditions and reactant ratios were used. Five copper(II) complexes with the general composition [Cu(fur)2(amine)2] were prepared. Both ligands coordinated in a monodentate manner. In the case of thiomorpholine, a coordination polymer was also formed. For all ligands except 2,6-dimethylmorpholine, unknown green compounds were also obtained. They were denoted as X_amine and were not successfully identified. The resulting products were isolated and characterized by infrared spectroscopy (IR), UV–Vis spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis (TG), elemental analysis (CHN), and single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis.
