Učinek vadbe pilatesa na razvoj stabilizatorjev trupa pri mladih badmintonistih

Abstract
Namen raziskave je bil ugotoviti, ali 10-tedenski program vadbe pilatesa vpliva na izboljšanje stabilnosti trupa in natančnosti izvedbe tolčene žoge pri mladih igralcih badmintona. V raziskavo je bilo vključenih 20 mladih igralcev iz Badmintonskega kluba Mladost Lendava, starih 12–15 let. Študijo smo izvedli v obliki intervencijske raziskave z začetno in končno meritvijo stanja. Udeleženci so deset tednov po štirikrat na teden pred začetkom badmintonskega treninga izvajali 20-minutno vadbo pilatesa. Stabilnost trupa smo ocenjevali z uporabo McGillovih preizkusov (PUT, PSMT desna, PSMT leva in PIH), natančnost udarca pa z mersko nalogo uspešnosti forhend tolčene žoge. Rezultati so pokazali statistično značilno izboljšanje stabilnosti trupa in izrazito povečanje natančnosti pri izvedbi tolčene žoge po končanem programu vadbe pilatesa. Velikost učinkov je bila precejšnja, kar potrjuje praktično pomembnost ugotovitev. Kljub temu analiza linearne regresije ni potrdila statistično značilnega vpliva izboljšanja stabilnosti trupa na izboljšanje natančnosti udarca, kar pomeni, da na natančnost vplivajo tudi drugi dejavniki. Z raziskavo smo želeli prispevati k učinkovitejšemu oblikovanju dopolnilnih trenažnih programov za mlade badmintoniste. Ugotovitve potrjujejo uporabno vrednost pilatesa kot varne, dostopne in učinkovite oblike vadbe za krepitev stabilizatorjev trupa ter izboljšanje natančnosti pri izvedbi tolčene žoge pri mladih igralcih badmintona.

Title:The effect of Pilates programme on the development of core stability in young badminton players
Abstract:
The aim of this study was to determine whether a 10-week Pilates training programme improves core stability and stroke accuracy in young badminton players. Twenty players aged 12 to 15 from the Mladost Lendava badminton club took part in the intervention study, which also measured baseline and endpoints. The participants took part in 20-minute Pilates sessions four times a week for 10 weeks before regular badminton training. Core stability was assessed using the McGill Battery (TFT, LMT right, LMT left, TET), and stroke accuracy was measured using the Forehand Smash Stroke Performance Test. The results showed statistically significant improvements in both core stability and stroke accuracy, with very large effect sizes, confirming practical relevance. However, the linear regression analysis did not confirm a statistically significant effect of the improvement in core stability on the improvement in stroke accuracy, suggesting that other factors also influence accuracy. The aim of this study was to contribute to a more effective formulation of complementary training programmes for young badminton players. The results confirm the benefits of Pilates as a safe, accessible and effective form of training to strengthen core stabilisers and improve stroke accuracy in young badminton players.
