The purpose of the diploma thesis was to design, construct and manufacture kitchen furniture, adapted to the specific spatial requirements and wishes of the client, in cooperation with the company Mizarstvo Mrak d.o.o. In the introductory part, an analysis of different types of kitchens and applicable standards for their design was carried out. Based on the principles of ergonomics and anthropometry, modern kitchen furniture was developed using computer-aided design. The design process began with complete conceptual sketches, which were then converted into three-dimensional models for a visual presentation to the client and coordination of final solutions. The diploma thesis shows in detail the design process, preparation of technical documentation using the MegaCAD – MegaTISCHLER software, and individual phases of manufacturing and assembly of kitchen furniture.
