Abstract
Magistrsko delo obravnava razvoj parametričnih gradnikov za projektiranje železniške proge v programskem okolju Autodesk Civil 3D. Gradniki so bili zasnovani in izdelani s pomočjo orodja Subassembly Composer ter temeljijo na zahtevah veljavne slovenske tehnične regulative in standardov za načrtovanje železniških prog. V okviru naloge so bili razviti gradniki za modeliranje enotirne in dvotirne proge, minimalnih svetlih profilov (GC, GI2 in svetli profil odjemnika toka) ter enostranskega perona. Zasnova gradnikov modelov prečnega prereza temelji na parametričnem pristopu, ki omogoča avtomatizirano prilagajanje geometrije glede na vhodne podatke, ki so s privzetimi vrednostmi prilagojena tehničnim specifikacijam in pravilnikom, ali pa jih določi uporabnik sam. Posebna pozornost je namenjena implementaciji matematičnih enačb, logičnih pogojev in odločitev, s katerimi je omogočeno pravilno delovanje gradnikov v premi, levi in desni krivini ter pri različnih kombinacijah ostalih projektnih parametrov. Opisan je tudi sistem vhodnih spremenljivk, kodiranja točk, povezav in ploskev prereza ter način vključitve gradnikov v knjižnico orodij programa Civil 3D. Delovanje razvitih gradnikov je bilo preverjeno na primeru obstoječega odseka železniške proge, kjer je bila izdelana os, niveleta, izračun nadvišanj ter model koridorja s prečnimi prerezi. S tem je bila potrjena uporabnost gradnikov pri modeliranju realnih infrastrukturnih projektov in njihova sposobnost prilagajanja različnim geometrijskim in drugim pogojem.

Title:Parametric modeling of characteristic cross-sections and minimum clearance profiles of a railway track
Abstract:
This master’s thesis addresses the development of parametric subassemblies for railway infrastructure design within the Autodesk Civil 3D software environment. The subassemblies were designed and created using Subassembly Composer and are based on the requirements of valid Slovenian technical regulations and standards for railway design. The thesis includes the development of subassemblies for modelling single-track and double-track railway lines, minimum clearance profiles (GC, GI2, and mechanical pantograph), and a single-sided platform. The design of the subassemblies follows a parametric approach that enables automated adjustment of geometry based on input parameters, which are either predefined in accordance with technical specifications and regulations or defined by the user. Special attention is given to the implementation of mathematical equations, logical conditions, and decision branches, ensuring correct functionality of the subassemblies on tangents, left and right curves, and under various combinations of other design parameters. The system of input parameters, point, link and shape coding, as well as the integration of the subassemblies into the Civil 3D tool palette, are also described. The functionality of the developed subassemblies was verified on an existing railway section, where the alignment, vertical profile, cant calculations, and corridor model with cross-sections were created. This confirmed the applicability of the subassemblies for modelling real infrastructure projects and their ability to adapt to different geometric and other conditions.
