Abstract
Prispevek obravnava branje kot razvojno ključno izkušnjo mladostništva: bogati čustveni besednjak, podpira regulacijo in integracijo izkušenj v koherentno pripoved ter krepi empatijo, teorijo uma in kritično mišljenje. Izpostavi pomen dialoga o prebranem ter izzive digitalnega branja.

Title:"Tell me your story" - the role of reading in adolescents' development
Abstract:
The paper presents reading as a developmental experience in adolescence: it expands emotion vocabulary, supports affect regulation and integration into a coherent narrative, and strengthens empathy, theory of mind and critical thinking. It highlights dialogic reading and digital-reading challenges.
