Primerjava Velikega slovensko-madžarskega slovarja (2024) s Slovensko-madžarskim slovarjem (1996) : diplomsko delo

V diplomskem delu sem se ukvarjala s Slovensko-madžarskim slovarjem avtorja Jožeta Hradila, ki je bil izdan pri Državni založbi Slovenije leta 1996, ter z Velikim slovensko-madžarskim slovarjem iz leta 2024, ki nastaja na Centru za jezikovne vire in tehnologije Univerze v Ljubljani. Gre za rastoči slovar, kar pomeni, da se bodo nova gesla dodajala v rednih časvonih intervalih. Pri analizi so me najprej zanimale splošne značilnosti slovarjev, torej število geselskih člankov, način predstavitve uvoda in struktura geselskih člankov. Nato sem izbrala isto poglavje v obeh slovarjih in ju primerjala. Zanimalo me je, koliko geselskih člankov vsebujeta, koliko jih je podobnih in koliko se jih razlikuje. Za analizo sem izbrala gesla, ki se začenjajo s črko d. Na koncu analize sem navedla tudi nekaj napak, ki so se pojavljale predvsem v Slovensko-madžarskem slovarju Jožeta Hradila.

• Title: Comprehensive Slovene–Hungarian dictionary (2024) with the Slovene–Hungarian dictionary (1996)

Abstract

In my bachelor’s thesis, I examined the Slovene–Hungarian Dictionary by Jože Hradil, published by the State Publishing House of Slovenia in 1996, and the Comprehensive Slovene–Hungarian Dictionary from 2024, which is being developed at the Centre for Language Resources and Technologies at the University of Ljubljana. The latter is a growing dictionary, meaning that new headwords are being added at regular intervals. In the analysis, I first focused on the general characteristics of the dictionaries, specifically the number of entries they contain and the way the introduction and the structure of the entries are presented. I then selected the same chapter in both dictionaries and compared them. I was interested in how many entries they contain, how many of them are similar, and how many differ. For the analysis, I chose Chapter D. At the end of the analysis I also listed several spelling and typographical errors that appear mainly in Jože Hradil’s Slovene–Hungarian Dictionary.
