Abstract
V sklopu magistrskega dela sta bila poleg prej znanih štirih kelatnih 2-pirimidintionov (A) sintetizirana tudi dva nova analoga. Iz njih sem po znanih postopkih pripravil S-metilirane analoge (B) ter oksidirane ustrezne bis-bidentatne disulfidne analoge (D). Metiltiopirimidine sem nato uporabil za pripravo ternarnih bakrovih(I) kompleksov z 1,1'-bis(difenilfosfino)ferocenom (dppf) s splošno fomulo [Cu(dppf)(B)]PF6. Dimerne disulfide D sem uporabil za sintezo trikarbonilnih renijevih(I) koordinacijskih spojin s splošno formulo [(fac-Re(CO)3Cl)2(μ-D)]. Pripravljeni kompleksi so bili okarakterizirani z jedrsko magnetno resonanco (NMR), IR in UV-VIS spektroskopijo, masno spektrometrijo in CHN elementno analizo, nekaterim spojinam pa je bila določena struktura tudi z rentgensko strukturno analizo.

Title:Methylations and oxydations of 2-pirimidinethiones to stable chelating molecules for the preparation of new metal complexes of copper and rhenium
Abstract:
In this master’s thesis, two new analogues were synthesised in addition to four previously known chelating 2-pyrimidinethiones (A). From these, I prepared S-methylated analogues (B) and oxidised bis-bidentate disulfide analogues (D). I then used methylthiopyrimidines to prepare ternary copper(I) complexes with 1,1'-bis(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene. Dimeric disulfides D were used for the synthesis of tricarbonyl rhenium complexes with the general formula [(fac-Re(CO)3Cl)2(μ-D)]. The prepared complexes were characterised by nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), IR and UV-VIS spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, CHN elemental analysis, and the structures of some compounds were determined by X-ray structure analysis.
