Abstract
Diplomsko delo temelji na optimizaciji enostopenjske sinteze glicidola iz glicerola v pretočnem kontinuirnem reaktorju s strnjenim slojem katalizatorja v plinski fazi pri atmosferskem tlaku. Kot nosilni plin smo uporabili CO2. Karakterizacija katalizatorjev je bila izvedena z metodami XRD, BET, TGA in SEM. Spreminjali smo masni delež Cs v katalizatorju, reakcijsko temperaturo, maso katalizatorja in pretok CO2. Za izvedbo reakcije je najbolj optimalna uporaba 0,25 g katalizatorja 35 % Cs/ZSM-5(1500) pri temperaturi 550 °C in zmernem pretoku CO2 (40 ml/min). Najvišja dosežena konverzija glicerola pri teh pogojih je 86,6 mol%, najvišja selektivnost glicidola 63,8 mol%, najvišji dobitek 51,9 mol% in najvišja dobljena vrednost STY je 12,5 mmol/gkat/h.

Title:Catalytic Glycerol Carboxylation Reactions with CO2 in Flow Reactor
Abstract:
The thesis is based on the optimization of one-step synthesis of glycidol from glycerol in the gas-phase packed-bed continuous flow reactor at atmospheric pressure. CO2 was used as the carrier gas. The catalysts were characterized by XRD, BET, TGA and SEM. The reaction was carried out under different Cs loadings of catalyst, reaction temperatures, catalyst weights and CO2 flow rates. The most optimal conditions for the reaction are 0,25 g of 35 % Cs/ZSM-5(1500) catalyst at a temperature of 550 °C and a moderate CO2 flow rate (40 ml/min). The highest glycerol conversion achieved under these conditions is 86,6 mol%, the highest glycidol selectivity is 63,8 mol%, the highest yield is 51,9 mol% and the highest STY value obtained is 12,5 mmol/gkat/h.
