Abstract
Besedilo ponudi podrobnejši vpogled v organizem Zomi.

Title:Zomi / Zomi
Abstract:
The following text provides a more detailed insight into the Zomi organism. During the analysis, the question of the body as a framework arises, which, through the process of instrumentalisation, is often reduced to objectification. In my analysis, I draw on the mental models of the Skin Ego, the concept of the body without organs, and historical examples of extreme violence against the subject through the subjugation of the body. In doing so, I take a clear stance on the deceptive visual resemblance – I point out that appearance is deceiving and emphasise that Zomi does not depict subjugation, but rather the persistence of the body, despite its condition in the modality of ruins. Finally, I conclude by reflecting on Zomi as an apparatus for testimony, highlighting the significance of the internalised witness and the importance of the objectification of the body as a catalyst for more substantial changes.
