Abstract

Title:Development of a dedicated lifting mechanism for laboratory equipment
Abstract:
This thesis addresses the development of a dedicated lifting mechanism for handling laboratory equipment in confined spaces. Based on requirement analysis, target specifications were defined, and the methods QFD, morphological matrix, and VDI 2225 were applied to select the optimal solution. The developed design is based on a hydraulic drive and enables precise load positioning, stable operation, and easy storage. A 3D model was created, and structural analysis confirmed the adequacy of dimensioning and load-bearing capacity. The estimated manufacturing cost is €764.02. The results confirm that the solution meets the defined requirements and represents a solid basis for further development.

Keywords:lifting mechanism, laboratory equipment, product development, design methodology, stress analysis, cost analysis, VDI-2225, hydraulic jack
