This thesis analyzes the significance and impact of Luka Koper on the development of Central and Eastern Europe. The study focuses on the growth of port operations, macroeconomic indicators of hinterland countries, and a comparative analysis of transit times and transportation costs between the Port of Koper and other European ports. The methodological approach is based on the analysis of financial and operational data, statistical reports, and expert research, highlighting both the direct and indirect economic benefits derived from the port's activities. The conclusion emphasizes key strategic advantages such as geographical location, efficient intermodal connectivity, and sustainable development, and examines the influence of international partnerships and geopolitical changes on regional logistics and economic growth.
