Abstract
Diplomska naloga se osredotoča na preučevanje in razvijanje celostne grafične podobe za fotografsko podjetje, pri čemer je poudarek na grafičnem znaku kot temeljnem in ključnem elementu celostne grafične podobe. V teoretičnem delu naloge sem podrobno raziskala grafično oblikovanje in njegove zvrsti, pri čemer sem posebno pozornost namenila vlogi in pomenu celostne grafične podobe za prepoznavnost ter identifikacijo blagovnih znamk podjetja. Prav tako sem obravnavala načela, ki jih je potrebno upoštevati pri oblikovanju učinkovitega grafičnega znaka. Cilj naloge je bil doseči razumevanje grafičnih znakov in celostne grafične podobe ter njihove vloge pri oblikovanju vizualne identitete podjetja. V praktičnem delu sem izvedla analizo grafičnih znakov že obstoječih konkurenčnih podjetij, da sem lahko ugotovila njihove prednosti ter morebitne pomanjkljivosti. Na podlagi teoretičnega znanja in analize sem nato oblikovala lasten grafični znak in tako razvila celostno grafično podobo, ki jasno in učinkovito predstavlja identiteto fotografske dejavnosti.

Title:Developing a corporate visual identity for a photography company
Abstract:
The diploma focuses on the study and development of a comprehensive visual identity for a photography company, with particular emphasis on the logo as the fundamental and key element of the overall visual identity. In the theoretical part of the thesis, I conducted an in-depth exploration of graphic design and its various forms, paying special attention to the role and significance of a comprehensive visual identity in enhancing brand recognition and corporate identification. I also examined the principles that must be considered when designing an effective logo. The objective of the thesis was to achieve a thorough understanding of logos and visual identities, as well as their role in shaping a company’s visual identity. In the practical part, I carried out an analysis of the logos of existing competing companies in order to identify their strengths and potential shortcomings. Based on theoretical knowledge and analytical findings, I then designed my own logo and developed a cohesive visual identity that clearly and effectively represents the identity of the photography business.
