The diploma focuses on the study and development of a comprehensive visual identity for a photography company, with particular emphasis on the logo as the fundamental and key element of the overall visual identity. In the theoretical part of the thesis, I conducted an in-depth exploration of graphic design and its various forms, paying special attention to the role and significance of a comprehensive visual identity in enhancing brand recognition and corporate identification. I also examined the principles that must be considered when designing an effective logo.
The objective of the thesis was to achieve a thorough understanding of logos and visual identities, as well as their role in shaping a company’s visual identity. In the practical part, I carried out an analysis of the logos of existing competing companies in order to identify their strengths and potential shortcomings. Based on theoretical knowledge and analytical findings, I then designed my own logo and developed a cohesive visual identity that clearly and effectively represents the identity of the photography business.
