Abstract
Diplomska naloga obravnava uporabo obleke za zajem gibanja celotnega telesa pri razvoju računalniške igre v pogonu Unity. V delu predstavimo osnovne tehnologije zajema gibanja s poudarkom na inercialnih sistemih ter njihov praktični preizkus z uporabo obleke Rokoko Smartsuit. Poleg tega izvedemo tudi zajem gibanja s pomočjo kamere in optičnega sledenja, pri čemer smo oba pristopa analizirali in primerjali glede kakovosti in točnosti animacij. Posnete animacije smo obdelali v programih Rokoko Studio in Blender ter integrirali v Unity. Rezultati kažejo, da obleka za zajem gibanja omogoča stabilnejše in natančnejše animacije ter predstavlja dostopno rešitev za manjše razvojne projekte.

Title:Use of a Body Motion Capture Suit in the Development of a Computer Game for the Unity Engine
Abstract:
This thesis examines the use of a full-body motion capture suit in the development of a computer game using the Unity engine. We present the main motion capture technologies, with a focus on inertial systems, and their practical application using the Rokoko Smartsuit. In addition, we performed motion capture based on a single camera and optical tracking, and we analyzed and compared both approaches in terms of animation quality and accuracy. The captured animations were processed in Rokoko Studio and Blender and subsequently imported into Unity. The results demonstrate that a motion capture suit provides more stable and accurate animations and represents an accessible and effective solution for smaller game development projects.
