Abstract
V diplomski nalogi smo se osredotočili na razvoj sistema za avtomatizirano upravljanje datotek na lokalnih in oddaljenih sistemih ter preverili izvedljivost takšnega pristopa na osebnem računalniku. Pri razvoju smo uporabili modularno arhitekturo, protokol konteksta modela (MCP) in velike jezikovne modele (LLM), tako lokalno nameščene kot oddaljeno dostopne. Razvit sistem omogoča uporabo agentov za interpretacijo uporabniških pozivov in izvajanje datotečnih operacij prek vnaprej definiranih orodij. Analiza delovanja je pokazala, da zaradi omejitev v hitrosti obdelave, števila razpoložljivih orodij in infrastrukturnih zahtev rešitev trenutno še ni primerna za splošno vsakodnevno rabo, vendar se izkazuje kot učinkovit prototip in dobra osnova za nadaljnji razvoj. Povratne informacije razvijalcev programske opreme potrjujejo potencial rešitve, ki jo je z izboljšavami uporabniške izkušnje in domensko prilagoditvijo modelov mogoče nadgraditi v zanesljivo razvojno orodje.

Title:Development of an Agent-Based Application for Automated File Management
Abstract:
In this bachelor’s thesis, we focused on the development of a system for automated file management on local and remote systems and evaluated the feasibility of such an approach on a personal computer. The system was developed using a modular architecture, the Model Context Protocol (MCP), and large language models, both locally deployed and remotely accessible. The resulting system enables the use of agents to interpret user prompts and perform file operations through predefined tools. Performance analysis showed that, due to limitations in processing speed, the number of available tools, and infrastructural requirements, the solution is not yet suitable for general everyday use; however, it proves to be an effective prototype and a solid foundation for further development. Feedback from software engineers confirms the potential of the solution, which can be evolved into a reliable development tool through improvements in user experience and domain‑specific model adaptation.
