Syntax as a target linguistic level of communication is under the influence of constant linguistic changes. This discussion with commentary on specific examples within phraselevel, sentence-level, propositional, and supra-propositional syntax presents potential (still not fully established) special features in usage, which can therefore be grammatically, semantically, and pragmatically problematic, and are thus condemned to ongoing and constant evaluation from the perspective of normativity.
