Abstract
Diplomsko delo obravnava neverbalno komunikacijo v javni upravi. S komunikacijo se srečujemo na vsakem koraku, vendar je v poslovnem svetu nekoliko pomembnejša, saj vpliva na končno zadovoljstvo strank. Glavni razlog za raziskovanje tega področja je predvsem zanimanje, kako zelo se pomena neverbalne komunikacije zavedajo javni uslužbenci. Raziskava je bila izvedena s pomočjo kvantitativne metode. Anketni vprašalnik so prejeli vsi zaposleni v državni upravi. S pomočjo izvedene raziskave je bilo ugotovljeno, da se javni uslužbenci zelo dobro zavedajo neverbalne komunikacije na delovnem mestu, tako v stiku s strankami kot tudi med seboj, med sodelavci. Glede na analizo rezultatov je bilo mogoče potrditi vse tri zastavljene hipoteze, kar pomeni, da se je pravilno predvidevalo, da zavestna uporaba neverbalne komunikacije vpliva na končno zadovoljstvo uporabnikov. Prav tako na to vplivajo tudi jasne oznake in urejen prostor ter vpliv usklajevanja verbalne in neverbalne komunikacije na nesporazume. S pomočjo teoretičnega in praktičnega dela diplomskega dela je bilo ugotovljeno, da zaposleni v javni upravi nimajo ustrezne podpore oziroma da primanjkuje usposabljanj in izobraževanj na temo neverbalne komunikacije. Ta ugotovitev je tako tudi spodbuda za vse uslužbence oziroma nadrejene, da svoje uslužbence pošljejo na take vrste izobraževanj.

Title:The meaning of nonverbal communication in public administration
Abstract:
The thesis deals with nonverbal communication in public administration. We encounter communication at every step, but it is somewhat more important in the business world, as it affects the final satisfaction of customers. The main reason for researching this area is primarily the interest in how much public officials are aware of the importance of nonverbal communication. The research was conducted using a quantitative method, and a survey questionnaire was sent to all state administration employees. The research conducted revealed that public servants are very aware of nonverbal communication in the workplace, both when interacting with clients and among themselves, among colleagues. Based on the analysis of the results, all three hypotheses were confirmed, which means that it was correctly predicted that the conscious use of non-verbal communication affects the final satisfaction of users, as well as clear labels and an organized space, and the impact of coordinating verbal and non-verbal communication on misunderstandings. The theoretical and practical part of the thesis found that public administration employees do not have adequate support or lack training and education on nonverbal communication. Therefore, this work is also an encouragement for all employees or superiors to send their employees to such trainings.
