Obcestni duhovi v Bosni : izginjajoča štoparka

Članek obravnava pet različic mednarodno razširjene sodobne povedke tipa Izginjajoča štoparka, ki jih je avtorica zabeležila med terenskim raziskovanjem na različnih podeželskih območjih Bosne in Hercegovine v letih 2016–2024 med bosanskimi Srbi, Bošnjaki in Romi. Pri razpravi o posebnostih vsake različice in različnih moralnih naukih, ki jih te prenašajo, avtorica opozarja na posebnosti konteksta, znotraj katerega se širijo, pa tudi na specifične tesnobe in interese, ki si jih delijo člani in članice transmisijske verige in so ključni za njihovo razumevanje.

• Title: Roadside ghosts in Bosnia

Abstract

The article discusses five variants of the internationally widespread contemporary legend The Vanishing Hitchhiker, which the author recorded during her field research in various rural areas in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the years 2016–2024 among Bosnian Serbs, Bosniaks and Roma residents. In discussing the particularities of each variant and the different morals they convey, the author points to the specifics of the context in which they are mediated, as well as specific anxieties and interests shared within the conduit that are key to their understanding.
