Abstract
Merili smo dolžino tipalk, dolžino glave, dolžino in širino ovratnika, širino ramen, dolžino eliter po notranji in zunanji strani in dolžino celotnega telesa. Samice imajo v povprečju krajše tipalke, krajšo glavo, in krajši a širši ovratnik. V povprečju so samice večje.

Abstract:
Species of the genus Monochamus Dejean, 1821 are the most important confirmed vectors of Bursaphelenchus xylophilus (Steiner & Buhrer) Nickle. We measured morphological parameters of M. galloprovincialis, M. sutor and M. sartor, which have been collected at eight locations in Slovenia from 2007 to 2010. Measured parameters are: length of the antennae, length of the head, length and width of pronotum, shoulder width, length of elitrae on the inner and outer side, and length of entire body. We found that on average M. galloprovincialis vary from 16.66 to 23.64 mm (n=57) in size, M. sartor from 14.3 to 21.52 mm (n=3) and M. sutor from 14.65 to 22.89 mm (n=3). Antennae in males are about twice the size of the entire body, the female antennae are larger by about 1. Females on average have shorter antennae, shorter head, a wider and shorter pronotum. The shoulders are wider in females, elitrae measured from the inside, as well as from outside are longer in females. On average, females are larger. The results obtained differ from the indications in the litareture. Classical determinatoin based on morphometry is appropriate in determination of studied species and applied in forestry practice taking into account our results.
