Abstract

Title:Use of Art Fields, Art Formats, Art Materials and Tools by Art Teachers
Abstract:
In the master's thesis, we presented the most common use of art areas, art formats, art materials and aids by teachers of the subject of art. From the literature review, it can be concluded that teachers often resort to established selections of art materials and aids, indirectly to sizes or formats and the more frequent use of certain art areas. Students are therefore often limited by the use of the base, the size of the format, art materials and aids. The choice of the size or format of an art product can affect the art process itself and the art solutions of students of different ages, and therefore it makes sense for teachers to adapt the base or size to the art problem and the art development of the individual, while paying attention to the variety of art materials and aids (art techniques) and art areas. In the theoretical part, we presented the laws of art didactics, its development, and the planning of art activities. To investigate the selected problem, we used the causal-non-experimental research method. Empirically, the findings of the research showed that although teachers strive for dynamic fine arts lessons, they most often resort to solutions in the field of painting with the tempera painting technique on an A3 drawing sheet. Most teachers believe that they have too little space for more dynamic fine arts lessons (spatial limitations) and above all, too little time dedicated to students' artistic creation.
