Abstract
V diplomskem delu je obravnavana problematika hipoksije v splošnem letalstvu, saj lahko ogrozi varnost letenja. Za področje splošnega letalstva ni predpisanega praktičnega usposabljanja za prepoznavanje in odzivanje na hipoksijo. Naredili smo pregled regulativ in zakonodaje, ki se nanaša na obravnavano tematiko ter predstavili teoretična izhodišča obravnavanega področja. Glede na pregledane raziskave in aktivnosti, ki so bile izvedene na tem področju, smo zasnovali program usposabljanja, s katerim bo pilotom splošnega letalstva omogočeno izkusiti vpliv hipoksije na njihove zmogljivosti. Udeleženci v sklopu programa usposabljanja izvajajo vaje na simulatorju letenja v okolju višinske sobe. Predstavili smo opremo, s pomočjo katere se program usposabljanja lahko izvede in pripravili smernice za zdravstveno varstvo med izvedbo, ter norme za simulacijo atmosferskih pogojev v višinski sobi. Program usposabljanja je sestavljen iz treh vaj, pripravljenih za izvedbo in evalvacijo na simulatorju letenja. Z zasnovanim programom je sodelujočim prikazan vpliv hipoksije na njihove zmogljivosti med letom. Ta vključuje zajem podatkov o letu z nadaljnjo obdelavo in grafično predstavitev rezultatov. Dve vaji smo izvedli in analizirali v normalnih atmosferskih pogojih.

Title:Design of a training program for general aviation pilots to recognize and respond to hypoxia
Abstract:
The thesis addresses the issue of hypoxia in general aviation, as it can jeopardize flight safety. In the field of general aviation, there is no prescribed practical training for recognizing and responding to hypoxia. We conducted a review of regulations and legislation related to this topic and presented the theoretical foundations of the subject area. Based on the reviewed research and activities carried out in this field, we designed a training program that enables general aviation pilots to experience the effects of hypoxia on their performance. As part of the training program, participants perform exercises on a flight simulator in an altitude chamber environment. We presented the equipment required to implement the training program and prepared guidelines for health protection during its execution, as well as standards for simulating atmospheric conditions in the altitude chamber. The training program consists of three exercises, prepared for implementation and evaluation on the flight simulator. With the designed program, participants are shown the impact of hypoxia on their performance during flight. This includes flight data collection, subsequent processing, and graphical presentation of the results. Two exercises were carried out and analysed under normal atmospheric conditions.
