Abstract
Last-mile crowdshipping stands out as an innovative delivery concept with the potential to yield positive outcomes for both the environment and the socioeconomic landscape of individuals. The primary objective of this article is to analyze the preferences of potential crowdshippers in Slovenia across three transportation modes. Through a survey involving 158 participants, respondents conveyed their preferences by employing the stated choice method. The data was then subjected to analysis using a covariance ANCOVA analysis and logit model. Based on the responses from the survey we concluded that employed people are more likely to become crowdshippers than students. Additionally, for users of two-wheeled vehicles (TWV), the weight of the parcel is more important than monetary compensation, the size of the parcel has a strong influence on car users, and TWV users are less sensitive to the increase in additional time than car and public transport (PuT) users. These results offer valuable insights that can aid logistics providers in refining their strategies to effectively target potential crowdshippers and enhance their business model.
