Title:Grammatical evolution in electrochemical impedance spectroscopy
Abstract:
Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy is an important, fast, and inexpensive tool that allows users to measure the performance of fuel cells, the condition of battery electrodes, and other chemical processes in electrochemical systems. A crucial part of the measurement involves selecting an equivalent circuit whose parameters indicate the state of the measured process. Currently, this is done solely through expert knowledge and mathematical parameter fitting. This paper presents a new approach—the use of the SPICE simulation environment. We have added special spectroscopy-related elements to SPICE and have begun developing a routine that will automatically generate an appropriate (equivalent) electrical circuit.
