Pojavnost izklapljanja med delom pri slovenskih zaposlenih : magistrsko delo

Abstract
V zadnjih desetletjih so delovna okolja doživela številne spremembe, ki pomembno vplivajo na kakovost življenja zaposlenih ter igrajo pomembno vlogo pri vzdrževanju ravnovesja med delom in zasebnim življenjem. Digitalizacija in stalna povezanost brišeta meje med obema življenjskima sferama: delo vstopa v prosti čas, medtem ko zasebne dejavnosti vse pogosteje prehajajo v delovni čas. Ta pojav, opredeljen kot izklapljanje na delovnem mestu, zajema vedenja, pri katerih so zaposleni fizično prisotni, a se posvečajo osebnim opravilom (npr. uporaba interneta, urejanje zasebnih obveznosti, družabni pogovori s sodelavci). Magistrsko delo kot prva raziskava v Sloveniji proučuje pojavnost in obseg izklapljanja ter njegove posledice na raznolike organizacijske izide, kot so zadovoljstvo z delom, organizacijska zavzetost, delovna učinkovitost, delovna uspešnost in odlašanje. Rezultati kažejo, da se udeleženci v povprečno izklapljajo 4,04 ure in vse do maksimalno 15,78 ur na delovni teden, najpogosteje preko digitalnih aktivnosti (uporaba socialnih omrežij, interneta, pošiljanje elektronske pošte) in interakcij s sodelavci, medtem ko so fizične oblike izklapljanja (npr. sprejemanje obiskov na delovnem mestu, opravljanje osebnih opravkov) redkejše. Pojav se pozitivno povezuje z odlašanjem in prilagodljivimi oblikami dela ter negativno z organizacijsko zavzetostjo. V povprečju se pogosteje izklapljajo moški in mlajši zaposleni ter posamezniki, ki delajo v mikro podjetjih (do 10 zaposlenih) oziroma se opredeljujejo kot samozaposleni.

Title:The prevalence of non-work-related presenteeism among Slovene employees
Abstract:
In recent decades, workplaces have undergone numerous changes that significantly affect employees’ quality of life and the balance between work and private life. Digitalisation and constant connectivity are blurring the boundaries between the two spheres: work increasingly enters leisure time, while personal activities more frequently spill into working hours. This phenomenon, defined as switching off at the workplace, refers to behaviours in which employees are physically present but engage in personal tasks (e.g., internet use, handling private matters, social conversations with colleagues). This Master’s thesis represents the first study in Slovenia to examine the prevalence and extent of switching off and its consequences for various organisational outcomes (job satisfaction, organisational commitment, work efficiency, work performance, procrastination). Results show that participants on average disengage for 4.04 hours per week and up to a maximum of 15.78 hours – most commonly through digital activities (use of social media, internet, email) and interactions with colleagues, while physical forms of switching off (e.g., receiving visitors at work, running personal errands) are less frequent. The phenomenon is positively associated with procrastination and flexible work arrangements and negatively with organisational commitment. On average, men, younger employees and individuals working in micro-organisations (up to 10 employees) or self-employed individuals show higher levels on non-work-related presenteeism.
