Description: Data - cucumber seedling

Abstract
The dataset comes from a greenhouse experiment on cucumber seedlings (Cucumis sativus L. ‘Sargo’) testing the combined effects of root zone temperature, irrigation timing and a humic acid-based biostimulant (Humistar®). Measurements included morphology, physiology, nutrient composition, and efficiency indicators. Root zone temperature was the main factor influencing plant growth. Warm root zone enhanced shoot traits but reduced root biomass, while cool root zone promoted root development and improved resource-use efficiency. The biostimulant had a temperature-dependent effect, increasing nutrient accumulation under cool conditions. These findings highlight that biostimulant performance and seedling quality are strongly influenced by root zone temperature, providing insights for optimizing nursery and crop management practices.
