Oblikovanje kolekcije Strukturiranje nestrukturiranega

Cilj in namen raziskave je oblikovanje izdelava ženske kolekcije oblačil, ki temelji na fraktalih iz narave. Kolekcija Strukturiranje nestrukturiranega je namenjena urbanim, avantgardnim ženskam, ki cenijo in uživajo ob združevanju elegance in sproščenosti. To so pogumne, vplivne ženske z izrazitim in prepoznavnim slogom, ki združujejo sofisticiranost in ljubezen do inovacij. Narava nam razkriva prepleten svet samopodobnih vzorcev – od razvejanosti dreves, spiralnih oblik na školjkah, žil na listih do neenakomernih kontur obal. Raziskovalni proces se je začel s spoznavanjem fraktalov prek spletnih virov, z raziskovanjem njihovih matematičnih osnov, pojavnosti v naravi ter njihovega vpliva na umetnost in arhitekturo. Izhodišče kolekcije Strukturiranje nestrukturiranega temelji na fraktalih, ki jih najdemo v naravi, arhitekturi, umetnosti, kulturi in tudi v digitalnem svetu. Njihove oblike združujejo kompleksnost in enostavnost, kaos in red. Drapiranje je osrednja oblikovalska tehnika v procesu ustvarjanja, saj omogoča oblikovanje različnih organskih oblik. Ta tehnika omogoča raziskovanje različnih neskončnih linij, ki ponazarjajo neomejene oblike fraktalov. S pomočjo drapiranja lahko ustvarimo raznolike organske forme z uporabo različnih tekstilnih materialov. Vsak material ima svoje specifične lastnosti, ki v procesu drapiranja ustvarjajo edinstvene organske oblike. Rezultat raziskave je oblikovanje koncepta, poimenovanega Strukturiranje nestrukturiranega, ki izraža osebno vizijo oblikovanja: spreminjanje organskega kaosa v nosljiv oblačilni kos. Z uporabo tehnike drapiranja kot oblikovalske tehnike, ki omogoča nastanek organskih form, ter vključevanjem različnih materialov kolekcija združuje naravne oblike z elementi tradicionalne izdelave. Vključuje harmonijo med neskončnimi linijami ter ustvarja oblačila, ki so hkrati sodobna in brezčasna.

• Title: Designing Collection Structuring the Unstructured

Abstract

The aim of the research is to develop a women’s clothing collection inspired by fractals found in nature. The collection Structuring the Unstructured is designed for urban, avant-garde women who appreciate and enjoy the fusion of elegance and sportiness. These women are courageous, influential, and have a distinctive and recognizable style that blends sophistication with a passion for innovation. The influence of nature on design begins in childhood. Nature reveals to us a complex world of self-similar patterns, from the branching of trees and spiral forms of seashells to leaf veins and the irregular contours of coastlines. The research process began with an exploration of fractals through online sources, investigating their mathematical foundations, occurrences in nature, and their influence on art and architecture. The concept of the Structuring the Unstructured collection is based on fractals found in nature, architecture, art, culture and also in the digital world. These forms combine includes complexity and simplicity, chaos and order. Draping is at the heart of the design process, serving as a key technique for shaping a variety of organic forms. This method allows for the exploration of infinite lines that limitless forms of fractals. Through draping, it is possible to create diverse organic shapes using various textile materials. Each material has its own weight, which contributes to forming a unique organic silhouette and simultaneously provides structure to the timeless garment piece. The result of the research is the formulation of a design concept entitled Structuring the Unstructured, which express a personal vision of transforming organic chaos into wearable fashion pieces. By using draping as a central design technique to form organic shapes and combining it with different materials the collection creates a connection between the natural forms of the environment and traditional craftsmanship. It embraces a harmony of endless and non linear lines, resulting in garments that are both contemporary and timeless.
