Diplomsko delo predstavlja urbano revitalizacijo delno degradiranega območja vojašnice, ki z uvajanjem novih programov, preoblikovanjem prostorskih struktur ter vzpostavitvijo zelenega klina in mreže pešpoti pridobi novo identiteto in funkcijo v prostoru. Preobrazba omogoča povezovanje območja z bližnjo okolico, izboljšuje javni prostor in ustvarja odprt, dostopen ter trajnostno zasnovan prostor, ki spodbuja družbeno interakcijo, omogoča uporabo v zasebnem in javnem smislu ter zagotavlja kakovostno bivanje.

Abstract

The thesis presents the urban revitalization of a partially degraded barracks area, which, by introducing new programs, transforming spatial structures, and establishing a green wedge and a network of pedestrian paths, acquires a new identity and function in space. The transformation enables the area to be connected to the immediate surroundings, improves public space, and creates an open, accessible, and sustainably designed space that encourages social interaction while also enabling quality of life and use in both private and public terms.
