This thesis explores the perception of teamwork in the public and private sectors, with a focus on comparing employees from the Municipality of Sveta Trojica and Addiko Bank. Teamwork represents a key form of collaboration in modern organizations, as it influences efficiency, employee satisfaction, and organizational culture. The purpose of the research was to determine whether there are correlations between the perception of fair task distribution, the assessment of the effectiveness of team meetings, the evaluation of team leadership, the sense of contributing ideas to team improvement, and the perception of challenges within the team.
The research was conducted using a survey method. The results indicated differences between the sectors, particularly in the areas of leadership perception, the feeling of contributing ideas, and conflict resolution. Employees in the private sector evaluated participative leadership and the sense of involvement more positively, while in the public sector, higher ratings were recorded in the perception of fair task distribution. The research contributes to the understanding of team dynamics in different organizational contexts. The findings are useful for developing strategies in human resource management, improving leadership, and promoting collaboration.
