We developed a management plan for the unused part of the Litič forest property , which covers approximately 16.5 ha of forest within the forest management unit Južno Pohorje. Through field analysis, digital tools, and cooperation with the owner, we analyzed the state of forest stands and forest infrastructure. We found that 84.3% of the forest is in the mature developmental phase, with a total growing stock of 6,591.5 m³ (77.5% of which are conifers ).We planned harvesting and silvicultural measures for the next ten years. The total planned harvest over this period amounts to 1,019 m³. Silvicultural activities is foreseen on 3.1 hectares, including thicket tending and stand preparation for natural regeneration. The forest management costs are estimated at 36.898,75 €, with total revenues of 115.586,76 €, resulting in a net revenue of 78.688,01 € over ten years. For the inaccessible part of the forest, we proposed its designation as an eco-cell (measure 653), which would bring the owner a compensation of approximately 8,795€. The plan represents a balanced approach between economic and nature conservation objectives and follows all the principles applied in sustainable forest management in Slovenia.
